ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED: 14-inch laptop arrives with a 120 Hz OLED display, a Core i9-12900H processor and an NVIDIA RTX 30 series GPU
ASUS has introduced the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED (UX8402), a laptop that builds on the innovative Zenbook Duo series. While ASUS equips the Zenbook Duo 14 UX482 with 28 W processors, the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED relies on 45 W parts, instead. According to ASUS, the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED will be available with a Core i5-12500H, Core i7-12700H and Core i9-12900H, all Alder Lake processors that feature Intel's new Performance and Efficient cores.
Additionally, the machine will come with up to 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage, 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and an RTX 3050 Ti GPU that peaks at 85 W in performance mode. Moreover, the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED has a 14.5-inch primary display that operates at 2,880 x 1,800 pixels in a 16:10 aspect ratio and with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
ASUS adds that the main display peaks at 550 nits and is PANTONE verified, among other features. Meanwhile, the machine's ScreenPad Plus measures 12.7-inches across and operates at 2,880 x 864 pixels. For reference, the ScreenPad Plus is an IPS panel, rather than an OLED one.
Furthermore, the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED contains a 76 Wh battery, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A connection, a single micro HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5 mm jack and an SD card reader. Incidentally, ASUS includes a DC-in port for the machine's 180 W power supply and has enabled support for the ASUS Pen 2.0, which supports 4,096 pressure levels.
The Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED (UX8402) will be available from Q3 2022, starting at €1,899 in the Eurozone. Full pricing and availability remain unknown at this stage.
