Asus launches the Vivobook Pro 14X OLED: Powerful creator notebook with an Intel Core i9-12900H and an RTX 3050 Ti
Asus has launched the Asus Vivobook Pro 14X OLED, the next chapter of its Vivobook Pro series of creator laptops. The notebook carries an all-metal design with a raised logo housing on the back, helping it stand out from the rest of the Vivobook lineup.
Asus has also updated the input devices on the Vivobook Pro 14X OLED. The new ErgoSense keyboard has 19.05 mm of key pitch and 1.4 mm of travel. The trackpad is large and has a built-in software rotary dial for easy value adjustments in Adobe apps.
The Vivobook Pro 14X OLED packs a 14.5-inch 2880 x 1800 OLED display. The panel boasts up to 600 nits of peak brightness, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Furthermore, it refreshes at 120 Hz and has a 0.2 ms response time, resulting in a smoother and sharper viewing experience.
The Vivobook Pro 14X OLED is no slouch in the hardware department either. The notebook can be configured with either a 12th gen Core i7-12700H or a 12th gen Core i9-12900H with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5 memory and up to 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD. For people looking for a bit more graphical oomph, the laptop can be configured with up to an Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti.
Port selection on the Vivobook Pro 14X OLED is also well rounded. There is one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, a Thunderbolt 4 port with support for display out and power delivery, one HDMI 2.1 port, a speedy MicroSD card reader, a DC-in, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Finally, a 70 WH battery runs the show here. The 3-cell Li-ion unit can be fast-charged to 50% in just 30 minutes.
Along with other members of the Vivobook Pro OLED series, the Vivobook Pro 14X OLED will be available in Q3 2022. Unfortunately, we have no pricing information as of yet.
