ASUS has revealed the Vivobook Pro 15X OLED, a machine that slots in between its 14-inch and 16-inch siblings. As its name suggests, the Vivobook Pro 15X OLED has a 15.6-inch display that relies on an OLED panel. According to ASUS, it will offer the machine multiple display options, all OLED panels.
Specifically, the Vivobook Pro 15X OLED will be available with 2.8K/120 Hz or 4K/60 Hz options, which will both peak at 600 nits. Also, the display options will cover 100% of the DCI-P3 colour space and will be VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certified, as well as being PANTONE validated. ASUS adds that the display provides an 83% screen-to-body ratio, along with 0.2 ms response times and a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Elsewhere, the Vivobook Pro 15X OLED will come with an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX or an Intel Core i9-12900H, two high-performance processors that have 45 W TDPs and integrated GPUs. However, ASUS will offer the machine with RTX 3060, RTX 3070 and RTX 3070 Ti GPUs too, which should all handle games and rendering tasks well. Unfortunately, ASUS has not confirmed how much the Vivobook Pro 15X OLED will start at, nor all its configuration options. ASUS will release the Vivobook Pro 15X OLED at some point during Q3 2022; it has not announced a specific launch date yet.
