A few days ago, VideoCardz shared new specifications for the ROG Ally X, ASUS' upcoming ROG Ally (curr. $489.99 on Amazon) refresh. To recap, the leak followed a spate of details provided by @MysteryLupin, which we have covered separately. This time, what appears to be a Korean language promotional image has been posted online, in which the ROG Ally X can be seen in full for the first time.
Incidentally, the image shared by @LipaLegacy refers to the device as the ROG Ally 2. ASUS has since confirmed that the device will arrive as the ROG Ally X globally though, ruling out 'ROG Ally 2' entirely. As expected, the ROG Ally X has a black case with the same overall look as the original ROG Ally. However, a few differences exist, including a revised d-pad and more rounded case edges.
Moreover, the ROG Ally X appears to have smaller rear triggers and a much wider rear vent to allow excess heat to escape. On top of that, the new leak reiterates that the ROG Ally X will be available with 1 TB M.2 2280 SSD and 24 GB of LPDDR5X-7467 RAM. Surprisingly, it also mentions the ROG Ally X as weighing 670 g, 8 g lighter than VideoCardz's earlier evidence suggested. Unfortunately, we cannot make out the ROG Ally X's ports, which are not expected to include an ROG XG Mobile port.
