AOC AGON AG275QZW and AG275QZE shown as new 27-inch gaming monitors with 1440p resolutions and 260 Hz refresh rates
DisplaySpecifications has discovered apparent successors to the AG275QZ and AG275QZN, two AGON 5 series monitors that AOC launched in November 2022. As is often the case with AOC, it has showcased new monitors in China. For reference, AOC did the same last month with the U27G3XM and Q27G10E.
Now, it has announced the AG275QZW and AG275QZE, although we can only find evidence of the former on AOC's website for the time being. However, it appears that the AG275QZW and AG275QZE only differ in their case colour, which are white and black, respectively. Thus, all core AG275QZW specifications should apply to the AG275QZE, too.
As its name suggests, the AG275QZW measures 27-inches across. Based on an IPS panel, the gaming monitor delivers a 1440p resolution, 0.5 ms MPRT/1 ms GtG response times and a 260 Hz refresh rate. In other words, the AG275QZW has a 20 Hz higher native refresh rate than the AG275QZ/EU and AG275QZN/EU, albeit with no facility for overclocking to 270 Hz like the AG275QZ/EU.
Elsewhere, the AG275QZW and AG275QZE offer 99% sRGB and 92% DCI-P3 colour space coverages, as well as 450 nits peak brightness (VESA DisplayHDR 400) and 178°/178°(CR>10) viewing angles. Moreover, the monitors feature four video outputs split evenly between DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 connections, along with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub and a VESA mount for using third-party stands. Unfortunately, AOC has not confirmed pricing details yet nor international availability.
