AOC has unveiled Q27G10E, one of two new 27-inch gaming monitors it has released in China. For reference, the other is the AOC U27G3XM, which we have covered separately. As its name suggests, the AOC Q27G10E boasts a 27-inch panel that AOC states it has based around technology. Additionally, the panel outputs at 2,560 x 1,440 (1440p), much like the Gaming Q27G3XMN that it currently sells in the US for US$279.99 on Amazon.
According to AOC's website, the Q27G10E also peaks at 180 Hz, albeit when connected via DisplayPort 1.4. Alternatively, the Q27G10E outputs at up to 144 Hz over HDMI, thanks to AOC's decision to include older HDMI 2.0 standard ports. Still, both video output types support AOC's gaming features like Crosshair, G-Menu, Game Color and Motion Blur Reduction, among others.
Moreover, the monitor is said to deliver 300 nits peak brightness with 93% DCI-P3 colour space coverage, 1 ms GtG response times and ΔE <2 colour deviations calibrated to the sRGB colour space. Unsurprisingly, AOC has included variable refresh rate technology, too, with AMD FreeSync Premium on hand to mitigate image tearing. Elsewhere, the Q27G10E has a stand that supports tilt functionality and 100 x 100 mm VESA mounts for third-party stands and mounts. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen how much the Q27G10E will retail for outside China nor when Xiaomi plans to unveil it globally.
