Mercedes-Benz and Sony team up for PlayStation-themed A-Class

The Mercedes-Benz A-Class Vibes has been unveiled as a PlayStation-inspired version of the 2024 PHEV. The design features the colors of the game console, with a PlayStation 5 and a copy of Gran Turismo 7 included with each purchase. Other features of the AMG Line vehicle include the Night pack and a sliding panorama roof.

Mercedes-Benz and Sony have teamed up to create the A-Class Vibes, a plug-in hybrid inspired by the PlayStation 5. Customers who purchase the car will also get the new PS5 Digital Edition console and a copy of Gran Turismo 7. Based on the 2024 A-Class, the model has Digital White paintwork and a black leather interior, with the colors mimicking those of the game console. 

The Playstation-themed AMG Line PHEV comes with the Night pack, adding elements such as 18-inch AMG 5-spoke light-alloy wheels and black details on the exterior, such as the wing mirror covers. Inside the vehicle are over 100 LED lights set to blue, though you can choose from 64 colors. Otherwise, the model is the same as the standard 2024 A-Class hybrid, with 160 kW (218 hp) power. The top speed of the front-wheel drive model is 225 kph (~140 mph), with a 0 to 100 kph (~62 mph) acceleration time of 7.4 seconds.

The model has an electric-only range of 76 km (~47 miles), recharging from 10 to 80% via a 22 kW DC fast charger in 25 minutes. Other features include a sliding panorama roof, heated front seats and an infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Only 50 units of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class Vibes, or Classe A Vibes, are available, with the unique model currently on sale in Italy for €55,677 exclusively at the company’s store.
