Asus is working on a mini PC with AMD's most powerful laptop chip, the Ryzen AI Max Plus 395. It is codenamed NUC14LNS, and it might launch under the ExpertCenter lineup.

In our interview with AMD's Ben Conrad, we got hints about Strix Halo chips eventually finding their way into other form factors apart from laptops and tablets. X leaker @Olrak29_ has now spotted an Asus mini PC with a powerful Strix Halo chip.

Codenamed NUC14LNS, the soon-to-be-unveiled mini PC features AMD's top-spec Ryzen AI Max Plus 395 Strix Halo chip, complete with the Radeon 8060S iGPU. Interestingly, Asus has an identical SKU with the same codename called NUC 14 Pro AI+. But, it comes with an Intel Lunar Lake chip (Core Ultra 9 288V) at the helm. The final product might not have NUC in its name as it is an Intel IP.

The shipment is from last year, indicating Asus has been working on it for a while. It might see the light of day soon because the manifest suggests it was sent to the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for testing. Either way, Asus decided it wasn't good enough to show off at CES, so it might not be production-ready yet.
