Xiaomi India's managing director, Manu Kumar Jain, has tweeted a photo of himself and a second executive in what appears to be the OEM's regional office. The background of this image contains a whiteboard on which a possible yearly timeline is sketched out. If so, the word "F2?" is found under the "November" point of the same.

Xiaomi India's managing director may have re-kindled interest in the possibility of a Pocophone F2 by accident on Twitter. He may have done so by composing a lighthearted tweet with a photo featuring himself and Sneha Tainwala (the region's head of Redmi business) - and a whiteboard possibly displaying internal company content in the background.

This board shows what looks like a timeline going from 3 to 12. Accordingly, it could indicate which products Xiaomi India intends to release from March to December of a given year. Should this be the case, there are some terms under it, written in a different color of marker, that could signify products to be launched on certain months.

For example, the words "Mi Pad" are written directly under the "5" - whereas the term "F2?" is found under the "11". This, then, is what has led to speculation that the Pocophone F2 is being weighed up for this November (or next). However, this theory has a number of holes in it. For one thing, a Mi Pad would have had to be released in India in May of this year for it to hold water. This is not the case: the 4th generation of these tablets was not released in this country, and their successors have thus far failed to be released anywhere at all.

Furthermore, the writing on the board could have a number of different interpretations in any case. In addition, it is also most probable that the Pocophone sub-brand is not coming back; the OEM is more likely to stick with the Redmi K series instead.
