Redmi has announced that it will start selling its Note 8 Pro via Amazon's German store in October 2019. This phone is the brand's first device to feature a 64MP camera sensor. It will be sold in 6GB RAM SKUs with either 64 or 128GB of internal memory in its new market.

Xiaomi's premium-ish sub-brand Redmi has announced that customers in Germany will be able to buy the latest and greatest of its Note line soon. This may shake the medium-tier smartphone market in this country up somewhat: this new phone will compete well in some areas, thanks to its Samsung ISOCELL GW1 Bright sensor. This 64MP module is joined by an 8+2+2 back-up configuration on the Note 8 Pro's rear camera.

This quad-lens arrangement allows the Redmi Note 8 Pro to offer features such as Super Night Scene, as well as macro shots and 4K video at 30 frames per second. Besides this, it offers a 6.53-inch FHD display with a water-drop notch and 6GB of RAM. This is powered by the relatively new MediaTek Helio G90T SoC.

This device will be made available for sale through Amazon.de on October 8, 2019. It will reportedly be sold in its gray, white and green shades on this date, although an additional blue variant is slated to join them on this site in November.

The Note 8 Pro's base 64GB memory SKU will be priced at €249.90 (~US$273), whereas one with twice this internal memory limit will go for €279.90 ($306). However, Xiaomi has also announced that the first 3000 64GB units ordered on its launch day will be discounted to only €229.99 ($252).
