The new Terminator movie sponsors a special sales event for the Redmi Note 8 Pro in Spain

Redmi has teased a new promotion for the Note 8 Pro that ties in with the movie Terminator: Dark Fate. It will be available via the brand's Spanish division from October 29, 2019, and appears to consist of the offer of an appropriately-branded case with every sale of the standard 6GB model of the phone.

Redmi has partnered with the makers of the latest Terminator movie to launch a new flash sale for some European fans of this Xiaomi sub-brand. It involves the Note 8 Pro, which will be sold with a Dark Fate-themed case during the event. It is scheduled to start on October 29, 2019 at 00.00 and last for 24 hours thereafter.

This sale will take place on Redmi's official Spanish website. The brand has also announced that the units of the Note 8 Pro in question will also receive a €20 price-cut during the event. However, it only appears to pertain to the base 6GB model of this phone, which has 64GB of internal storage. Therefore, this SKU will be  €229 (about US$256) on the day, rather than €249 ($276) as normal.

This new movie tie-in by Redmi has also been teased via Xiaomi's UK division on its official Twitter account. However, it is not clear whether a similar offer is coming to this country or not: this channel may just have been used for its English-language attributes to draw attention to the upcoming sale.
