A new Xiaomi tablet recently visited China's 3C for certification with 120 W charging listed. While the identity of that tablet was initially unknown, a new leak has now revealed information about it, providing some much-needed clarity.
As shared by Digital Chat Station, this tablet, with the model number "25053RP5CC" is a flagship-grade model. That's about expected as Xiaomi typically keeps its 120 W charging protocol for its high-end tablets. More importantly, the leaker claims it will feature a 12.5-inch display, effectively confirming that this tablet is a direct successor to the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro. The Pad 6S Pro debuted in early 2024 with a 12.4-inch display, and this new tablet can be expected to be branded as the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro.
In addition to the Pad 7S Pro, Xiaomi also has the Pad 7 Ultra lined up. The Pad 7 Ultra bears the model number "25032RP42C" and will come equipped with a 14-inch OLED screen and 120 W charging as well. The Pad 7 Ultra may be scheduled to make its debut soon, perhaps even sometime this month alongside new Xiaomi products like the Xring 01 SoC. The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, on the other hand, is unlikely to be released till much later in the year.
