MagyarXiaomi Electric Scooter 4 and 4 Lite new models launch
Xiaomi has unveiled the Electric Scooter 4 and Electric Scooter 4 Lite for the EU, now available in Italy. The new models follow the Electric Scooter 4 Pro and Electric Scooter 4 Ultra, unveiled at MWC earlier this year. The 4 and 4 Lite have a top speed of 20 kph (~13 mph) with a digital dashboard showing your speed and remaining battery; you can view further journey information in the Xiaomi Home app.
The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 has a 600W peak power motor, tackling inclines up to 16%, and a 275.4Wh battery that allows you to travel up to 35 km (~22 miles) on a single charge. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite has a lowered-powered motor with a 300W maximum, capable of overcoming up to 14% inclines. The cheaper model also has a smaller 187Wh battery, allowing you to ride for up to 20 km (~13 miles) between charges. You can select from three power modes, including a 6 kph (~4 mph) walk mode, and the scooters have a double braking system, including front E-ABS and rear disc brakes.
Other features include tubeless tires, a 160 mm (~6.3-in) footplate and handlebar indicator lights. Plus, the scooters can be folded to make them easier to transport. You can now buy the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 and Electric Scooter 4 Lite in Italy via the Xiaomi store or Amazon for the discounted price of €399.99 (~US$431) and €499.99 (~US$538), respectively. The RRPs for the e-scooters are €449.99 (~US$483) and €549.99 (~US$591). The new products are expected to launch in other European countries in June.
