The Yadea VF F200 electric moped, designed in collaboration with Porsche, has been announced for the EU. The EV’s design has been inspired by Porsche’s sports cars, and the vehicle has a car-grade headlight and tail lights. The VF F200 has a 5.5 kW motor with 10 kW peak power, providing a top speed of 100 kph (~62 mph) and 238 Nm torque. The moped can accelerate from 0 to 50 kph (~0 to 31 mph) in around 2.5 seconds and tackle inclines up to 30°.
The VF F200 has two 27 Ah lithium batteries, providing up to 140 km (~87 miles) range. Other features include a hydraulic shock absorber, 31L of storage space under the seat, and a 7.5-in (~191 mm) TFT dashboard showing information such as your speed and distance travelled. The moped has 14-in front and 13-in rear tires and ABS brakes, with the entire vehicle measuring 1,923 x 820 x 1,295 mm (~75.7 x 32.3 x 51.0-in).
The Yadea VF F200 electric moped is expected to retail for around €6,000 (~US$6,458), launching in EU countries including Spain later this year; the exact release date is yet to be announced The EV will be available in blue, black, grey/silver and purple. Whether the company will launch the new moped in other markets, such as the UK and the US, remains to be seen.
