Acer has updated the Predator XB323QK with a fourth-generation model, which it has presented alongside the Nitro XV240 F6 globally. In short, the Predator XB323QK V4 is a 32-inch dual-mode gaming monitor, just like the Asus ROG Strix XG32UCG and MSI MAG 321CUPDF before it (curr. $459.99 on Amazon).
As far as we can tell, the Predator XB323QK V4 features the same IPS panel as the ROG Strix XG32UCG. Consequently, the former defaults to a 4K native resolution with a 160 Hz refresh rate across its DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 inputs. However, the monitor can increase its refresh rate to 320 Hz by dropping its resolution to 1080p.
According to Acer, its new monitor also provides 1 ms GtG response times, AMD FreeSync Premium variable refresh rate technology and 95% DCI-P3 colour space coverage. Unfortunately, the Predator XB323QK V4 only delivers 250 nits peak brightness, as well as 8-bit colour accuracy. A height, swivel, pivot and tilt adjustable stand is included though, as are 100 x 100 mm VESA wall mounts.
The Predator XB323QK V4 will reach China later this quarter for CNY 3,999. Incidentally, this pricing matches the ROG Strix XG32UCG, which Asus should eventually offer globally. Although Asus has not confirmed availability outside China yet, Acer has clarified that the Predator XB323QK V4 will hit Europe, the Middle East and Africa in Q3 2025 for €699 (~$791). There is no word yet on US availability, though.
