Acer has shared new information about the Nitro XV240 F6, which it previewed back in September. To recap, the company claimed that the monitor would reach Europe and the US in Q1 2025 for €899 and $599.99, respectively. Not only has that not happened, but it has adjusted pricing for both markets, too.
To recap, the Nitro XV240 F6 features a 24.1-inch TN panel with a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Being a TN panel, the Nitro XV240 F6 also provides comparatively fast response times, which Acer quotes at as low as 0.1 ms. The monitor has AMD FreeSync Premium technology on hand to mitigate image tearing as well; there is no word on VESA AdaptiveSync or Nvidia G-Sync support, though.
Arguably, the monitor's greatest party trick is its 600 Hz refresh rate, which it achieves via its single DisplayPort 1.4 connection. As a result, the Nitro XV240 F6 should provide smoother visuals than even something like the Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP (curr. $999.99 on Amazon), which tops out at 480 Hz. With that being said, the Nitro XV240 F6 can only hit 240 Hz when using either of its HDMI 2.0 ports.
Regardless, Acer reports that the panel should reach 350 nits in SDR mode and 400 nits in HDR mode while maintaining 90% DCI-P3 colour space coverage. The company now claims that the Nitro XV240 F6 will be available later this month in North America, albeit for $699.99. Meanwhile, it should reach China later this quarter for CNY 4,999 and Europe in Q3 2025 for €799.
