Jsaux has a new mobile monitor system in development. It supports various setups and might be able to boost productivity when working on a laptop while traveling or on business trips.
We've previously reported on the brand Jsaux, which has now introduced a new portable monitor system with two additional displays. The so-called FlipGo Horizon doesn’t have an official release date or price tag yet, but Jsaux plans to finance its latest product via a crowdfunding campaign.
The company might not be dependent on crowdfunding, but it’s also a well-known fact that these campaigns are often used for marketing purposes. Users who are interested in the expected discounts can already register their email address in order to be notified when the crowdfunding campaign kicks off.
With that out of the way, the FlipGo Horizon offers rather ordinary 15.6-inch screens with a 1080p resolution, full sRGB color space coverage and a brightness of 300 nits. These upcoming Jsaux monitors can be mounted on one of two available stands. They use magnets, which means that these portable monitors can be mounted horizontally or vertically, or in portrait or landscape orientation to be more exact.
As mentioned, Jsaux offers two different stands. The Snap Stand is really just a mount, in which case both monitors have to be hooked up with separate cables. On the other hand, the Snap Stand Pro has an integrated docking station, which can be connected to laptops via USB-C and further offers USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports for connecting accessories.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
