The new N-One NBook Fly is a dual-screen notebook that carries a fairly affordable price tag. The device is powered by an Intel Xeon processor with eight cores.
The NBook Fly isn't exactly an entirely new product, but it's now available with a different processor. Specifically, the latest configuration is powered by the Intel Xeon W-10885M. While this isn't one of the latest Intel chipsets, it sports eight instead of six cores found in the previously used Intel Core i7-10850H. Consequently, it also offers 16 instead of just 12 threads. The Xeon-powered laptop can now be ordered at Banggood for prices starting at $875 with shipping directly from China. Potential import duties are not included in this price.
The highlight of this laptop is arguably the dual-display setup. The second screen measures 14 inches and is extra wide with a resolution of 3840 x 1100 pixels. The main display is 16 inches and has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The smaller screen does support touch input. The NBook Fly further features 16GB RAM as well as a 1TB SSD. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled.
Moreover, the new N-One laptop weighs around 5.5 lbs and has a 58Wh battery. In terms of ports, there are HDMI, multiple USB 3.0 and one single USB Type-C port. An Ethernet port is available as well, as are WiFi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Last but not least, there’s a 1MP webcam and a keyboard with a fairly large trackpad, but no numpad. The keyboard should have the usual QWERTY layout.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
