Aura Displays has been selling mobile dual-monitors for laptops for many years, but with the Triple Boost 14 Pro, the brand is now launching its very first triple-screen. These portable monitors can be easily attached to the display lid of 11-inch to 18-inch notebooks and then folded out. A fold-out kickstand supports the aluminum housing of the triple-display on a desk in order to reduce the strain on the laptop hinge.
The Triple Boost 14 Pro consists of three 14-inch IPS panels with a matte finish, a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 60Hz refresh rate, 300 nits of brightness and contrast ratio of 1,500:1. The sRGB color space is fully covered. Laptops can be connected via USB-C, and a second USB-C port is available in case a single one doesn’t provide enough power. If a sufficiently fast charger is connected to the second port, these portable monitors can charge the laptop.
The upper screen can be folded backwards to face people sitting opposite of the user. The screen content is automatically rotated in this case. The three screens can be quickly folded for easier transport. According to Aura Displays, the Triple Boost 14 Pro is compatible with Windows and macOS, as well as Linux and Android. That said, connected devices have to support three external 1080p displays.
Price and availability
