OPPO has made the Indian versions of its latest premium mid-range Android smartphones, the Reno8 and Reno8 Pro, official today (July 18, 2022). They have been introduced alongside the Air version of the OEM's first-gen tablet, as well as its new Enco X2 flagship TWS earbuds. They will be available imminently via channels such as Flipkart.

OPPO has just unveiled its new Reno8 series in its latest market. The smartphone line-up has, as indicated earlier, been re-shuffled so as to present the device originally introduced as the Pro+ variant as the 8 Pro for the Indian market.

Nevertheless, this means that OPPO is still able to usher it in as India's new "end-to-end imaging system" smartphone, as it still rocks its Dimensity 8100-MAX SoC paired with the in-house MariSilicon X co-processor.

The Dimensity 1300-powered vanilla 8 lacks for the latter, yet might still prove a OnePlus 10R/Realme GT Neo 3 alternative with the series' 80W SuperVOOC and high- (90Hz for the 8, 120Hz for the 8 Pro) refresh-rate FHD+ AMOLED displays.

The new-to-India Pad Air does not share these specs, yet might still appeal with its 11-inch 2K IPS display, powered by the modern enough Snapdragon 680 SoC. OPPO then proceeds to shift its aim back to the premium end of the scale by also unleashing the "evolved", Dynaudio-tuned Enco X2 earbuds.

They have been priced at INR 10,999 (~US$138), while the Pad Air will be available at INR 16,999 (~US$213) for a 4GB RAM/64GB of internal storage or INR 19,999 (~US$250) for the remaining 4/128GB SKU. The Reno8 will start from INR 29,999 (~US$375), while the Reno8 Pro will be released at INR 45,999 (~US$575).

The 8 Pro and Pad Air can be ordered from July 19 and 23, 2022 respectively, with the vanilla 8 and Enco X2 consigned to wait until July 25.

All 4 devices will be sold through either major retail stores, via OPPO, or on Flipkart, where the customer could stand to avail of various different cashback and rebate offers depending on the choice of platform.

For example. the OEM has also introduced a new "OPPOverse" offer by which the buyer can buy a Reno8-series phone with a second IoT product then sign up to the Indian My OPPO app for a chance to buy a Watch Free at an INR 5,998 (~US$75) discount.
