OPPO Watch 3 and Band 2 color options, model numbers allegedly leak out along with some fitness-tracking specs
OPPO defines a member of its top-end wearable line as "not just another smartwatch", and, as its first generation pioneered on-wrist ECGs in 1 edition, that might be more than fair enough. Now, the eminent leaker Digital Chat Station claims that a "Watch3" is on the way.
Going by this name, the device might stand to succeeed the OEM's current flagship watch, and is also now slated to do so in either black, "dark" gray, silver or "light" gold. The "OPPO Watch 3" is also now predicted to debut with the usual Apple Watch-clone form-factor, which might feature a "high" screen-to-case ratio and a "micro-arc" design (a term that may or may not refer to its edge curvature).
It might launch alongside a "Band2" in a comparably reduced selection of colors (just black and blue), with support for SpO2 monitoring and NFC, specs that might also be a fraction of what the Watch 3 offers instead.
Given these specs, and recent OPPO wearable history, these are predictions practically anyone could make. Then again, Digital Chat Station's new leak might have an edge in terms of credence as it cites novel and specific SKUs per device: OWW211, OWW212 and OWW213 for the "Watch 3", and OBB211 for the supposed second-gen Band.
Therefore, this putative OPPO Watch 3 may be a premium smartwatch to look out for going into the second half of 2022 after all.
