According to reports straight out of China, Xiaomi is working on four new tablets, with sizes ranging from 10.4" to a massive 14" model that looks set to be positioned as a cheaper alternative to Samsung's Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. The Xiaomi Pad 6 series is on its way, it appears.

The Xiaomi Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro debuted almost a year ago. Xiaomi looks set to bring successors to tablets soon, and it appears the company may expand the lineup even further. According to leaker Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi has four new tablets lined up to launch this year. Said tablets will come in four flavors: 10.4", 12.6", and 14" in addition to an 11" model. The 11" model looks all but guaranteed to be the vanilla Xiaomi Pad 6. The leaker's wording alludes to that, and the Xiaomi Pad 5 is of that same size.

The other three models are more interesting, however. For one, Digital Chat Station claims prices of the tablets correlate directly with size. As such, the 12.6" tablet can be presumed to be the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro. Prior information claimed the Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 888 would make appearances on Xiaomi's upcoming tablets, and it's likely the 11" Xiaomi Pad 6 gets the upgrade from the Snapdragon 860 on the Xiaomi Pad 5, to a Snapdragon 870. The 12.6" tablet could get the Snapdragon 888, however, which would be a step up from the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro's Snapdragon 870.

The 14" tablet looks set to be Xiaomi's most premium tablet yet and would likely be positioned as a rival to Samsung's Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Logic dictates that the worst SoC it could feature will be the Snapdragon 888, and there's a chance Xiaomi goes all out with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or even a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. None of that can be confirmed at the moment, though.

Lastly, the 10.4" model will be the cheapest of the crew and could well be sold under the Redmi brand. Word of a Redmi Pad 5G surfaced a while ago, and it would make sense for Xiaomi to offer an affordable tablet to go up against the Realme Pad X and OPPO Pad Air. Rumors of a MediaTek-powered tablet sprung up in the wild weeks ago, and there's a chance the 10.4" tablet was the subject of those reports.
