A reliable leaker has shared nearly three-dozen official images of the Galaxy Z Fold5, a month before the device's rumoured launch date. The same leaker has also provided what appears to be full device specifications, with camera, display and memory details all disclosed.

Leaker @_snoopytech_ has published 30 product images of the Galaxy Z Fold5, seemingly a month before Samsung unveils the foldable at its next Galaxy Unpacked event. Building on an earlier leak in which MySmartPrice showcased a single promotional image, @_snoopytech_ has shown the Galaxy Z Fold5 from almost every side in Cream, Icy Blue and Phantom Black colourways. For reference, while Samsung is expected to offer the handset in exclusive online colourways, the three pictured below are those that third-party retailers will stock.

According to @_snoopytech_, the Galaxy Z Fold5 will only ship with 12 GB of RAM, matching its predecessor. However, there will be no 1 TB storage option, as Brar previously claimed. Instead, the Galaxy Z Fold5 makes do with 256 GB and 512 GB of unexpandable storage. Other hardware differences between the Galaxy Z Fold5 appear relatively minor too, with familiar display specifications:

  • Cover display: 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED, 2,316 x 904 pixels (48 – 120 Hz variable refresh rate)
  • Internal display: 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED, 2,176 x 1,812 pixels (1 – 120 Hz variable refresh rate)

Moreover, @_snoopytech_ expects a new 12 MP telephoto sensor to be the sole camera change. Supposedly, the 50 MP primary, 12 MP ultra-wide-angle, 10 MP front-facing and 4 MP under-display camera (UDC) cameras remain, three of which were also present in the Galaxy Z Fold3. Likewise, this year's Galaxy Z Fold still has a 4,400 mAh battery, a USB 3.2 Type-C port and IPX8 dust/water resistance, not IP58 as an earlier rumour suggested.

Conversely, the Galaxy Z Fold5 is slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, with @_snoopytech_ mentioning a 253 g weight, a 13.4 mm thickness and a 154.9 mm height. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold4 weighs 263 g, is between 14.2-15.8 mm thick when folded and is 155.1 mm tall. This year's Galaxy Z Fold retains its predecessor's 67.1 mm width when folded, though. Pricing has not surfaced yet, but equivalent information for the Galaxy Z Flip5 has now surfaced.
