Huawei Watch GT 4 charging specs and leather band option revealed ahead of launch
The next Huawei Watch GT has already experienced a pretty comprehensive leak in terms of design and style choices; then again, it also indicated that the wearable would come with bands made of metal with few alternatives. However, according to the latest tip on the subject, there may also be a SKU with a leather strap.
It is portrayed as brown with a silver buckle and, thus, almost inevitably belongs to the Watch GT 4's alleged 46mm variant of the same approximate color. It is pictured alongside its black counterpart of the silicon band from the previous WinFuture tip, and, together with the wearable's huge shiny chronograph, conspires to give it the impression of being the largest of its line thus far. Then again, both versions seem to have the same backplate - central concentric silver rings and all.
On that note, both "Watch GT4 46mm" variants are now depicted as worthy successors for the GT 3 Pro, even though they are said to be finished in stainless steel rather than titanium. According to MySmartPrice, they will still support wireless charging - then again, the blog somewhat confusingly asserts that this might be done at either 10W or 18W.
Should that spec prove accurate, it may hint at more universal charger compatibility in these Watch GT variants - either that, or the less impressively fast spec belongs to the 41mm alternative, a potential successor to the Watch GT 3 Pro Ceramic Edition.
