Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Collector's Edition: Special edition smartwatch launches with ceramic design and ECG capabilities

Huawei has released the Watch GT 3 Pro Collector's Edition. The special edition model is available in China for now and has a more premium design than the regular Watch GT 3 Pro while retaining the same advanced health features, such as the ability to take ECGs.
Smartwatch Wearable Launch

Huawei has announced another entry in its Watch GT 3 series, having already released the Watch GT 3, Watch GT 3 SE, Watch GT 3 Porsche Design and the Watch GT 3 Pro. This time, Huawei has introduced the Watch GT 3 Pro Collector's Edition, which it offers in a black finish with gold accents. According to Huawei, the former is nano microcrystalline ceramic, not the traditional ceramic of the regular Watch GT 3 Pro.

Additionally, Watch GT 3 Pro Collector's Edition has sapphire glass to protect its 1.32-inch AMOLED display, plus a black ceramic watch strap. Seemingly, the gold accents are exactly that though and not 24-carat gold. The Watch GT 3 Pro Collector's Edition is functionally identical to the regular Watch GT 3 Pro, with HarmonyOS 2.0 pre-installed, along with Huawei's usual suite of health monitoring applications, as well as the ability to take an ECG.

The Watch GT 3 Pro Collector's Edition is available in China for CNY 4,938 (~US$710). However, its price will eventually rise to CNY 4,988 (~US$717) in Huawei's market. As with the Watch Buds, Huawei has not confirmed whether it intends to offer the Watch GT 3 Pro Collector's Edition outside China. Considering that Huawei elected against releasing the Watch GT 3 Porsche Design globally, we suspect that the Watch GT 3 Pro Collector's Edition will also remain a Chinese exclusive.
