The Casio Edifice ECB-S10D-2A and ECB-S10D-8A watches are about to launch in the UK. These two products were listed on the Casio Europe website at the end of February and are also listed at the UK store. Like other Edifice products, their design is said to be inspired by classic sports cars.
The ECB-S10D is a hybrid watch with a smartphone link thanks to Bluetooth connectivity. Through the accompanying Casio Watches app, users get features like automatic time adjustment, support for world time zones across 300 cities and a phone finder tool. On the watch, you can choose from 38 time zones and use features like a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer with a 24-hour range and five daily alarms. The watch’s calendar is fully automatic to the year 2099, there is a flight mode, and a hand shift feature ensures that the smaller digital display is not obscured.
Plus, a double LED backlight helps you to read the watches in low lighting. On top of this, they are water resistant to 100m and run for around two years on two SR726W batteries. Both versions have a stainless steel casing and strap with a hairline finish and a mirror-like bezel. The ECB-S10D-2A has a blue dial, while the ECB-S10D-8A has a silver/dark metallic gray face.
Casio has revealed that the Edifice ECB-S10D-2A and ECB-S10D-8A watches will retail for £169 in the UK. However, an exact launch date has yet to be provided. It is unclear whether or when these two models could be released in other European countries like the Netherlands and France, where the Edifice EFR-575 chronographs have recently been listed. There is also no information surrounding a North American launch.
