The iPlay 70 Mini Pro is the latest compact tablet from Alldocube. Released a month after the arrival of the iPlay 70 Mini Ultra, the Pro variant replaces its direct predecessor with a 90 Hz display and a faster chipset while retaining features like a 6,050 mAh battery and dual SIM 4G connectivity.

Alldocube has returned with another compact tablet, having introduced the iPlay 70 Mini Ultra at the start of last month. This time, it has decided to replace the iPlay 60 Mini Pro (curr. $159.99 on Amazon) with a direct successor. Already available on AliExpress, the iPlay 70 Mini Pro builds on its predecessor in a few areas like a more powerful chipset and a faster display.

For example, Alldocube has swapped out the MediaTek Helio G99 for a Kompanio 900T. As a result, the iPlay 70 Mini Pro has two ARM Cortex-A78 CPU cores, six Cortex-A55 CPU cores and a Mali-G68 GPU at its disposal. The Kompanio 900T is a 6 nm-class chipset like the Helio G99, though. In other words, the iPlay 70 Mini Pro is unlikely to run any more efficiently than its predecessor.

If anything, the adoption of a 90 Hz display may see Alldocube's new tablet eat through its battery more quickly than the iPlay 60 Mini Pro. For reference, the latest iPlay mini Pro retains a 6,050 mAh battery that supports 18 W charging, as well as 4G and GPS connectivity. Likewise, the iPlay 70 Mini Pro maintains a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel native resolution across its 8.4-inch IPS display.

On top of that, the iPlay 70 Mini Pro comes with 5 MP front-facing and 13 MP rear-facing cameras, plus 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of expandable storage. Currently, Alldocube is offering its new tablet globally on AliExpress for roughly $150 in a single colour option. Please see Alldocube's website for more details.
