RedMagic has announced a new launch event, which is set for May 26, 2025. At this event, the company will officially unveil a new lineup of phones that will be part of the 10S Pro series. While not much has been officially shared by the company, this new gaming phone lineup could feature an enhanced version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Looking back, the RedMagic 9S Pro series launched with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version. At the core, it was an overclocked variant of the regular SoC, and before the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Elite, it often topped benchmark charts.
Alongside the new gaming phone lineup, RedMagic could also launch the much-teased compact gaming tablet. Per recent reports, this pad will feature a 9-inch OLED screen, competing directly against the newly launched Lenovo Legion Y700 Gen 4 tablet. Its screen will reportedly feature a resolution of 2400x1504 pixels, which is lower than Lenovo's offering.
This RedMagic gaming tablet, however, is expected to feature the regular version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite, with a top clock speed of 4.32 GHz. Recent reports have also suggested that the tab will sport a large battery, reportedly with a capacity of 8,240 mAh (20K Anker Zolo power bank curr. $32.99 on Amazon).
Other than that, this May 26launch event could also introduce new RedMagic gaming accessories. The company is expected to share more details about the upcoming products through future teasers.
