The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition are set to launch soon in China. Ahead of the release, a leak reveals the new design language of the phones.

The OnePlus Ace series is a performance-centric lineup of smartphones. The Ace 5 series, consisting of two phones, was launched last December. The standard Ace 5 featured the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the Ace 5 Pro came with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The company is set to expand the series with two new models: the Ace 5 Ultra and the Ace 5 Racing Edition.

Currently, OnePlus has confirmed the processors of the upcoming models. The Ace 5 Racing Edition will be equipped with the new Dimensity 9400e chipset, while the Ace 5 Ultra is confirmed to feature the Dimensity 9400+ chipset.

A new leak, shared by Abhishek Yadav on X, reveals the design of both devices. Unlike the previous Ace 5 models with a circular rear camera module, the new devices adopt a fresh design language with a pill-shaped camera housing. This aligns with OnePlus’s previous announcement that it will use a new design language for its future phones.

A recent leak revealed that the Ultra model will feature a display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Additionally, we expect both devices to feature a large 7,000mAh battery. The leaked images suggest both phones will sport a dual rear camera setup. The company will be releasing the phones in China in the coming days.
