The iPhone 14's official Far Out launch event is now less than a week away. Nevertheless, leaks for this flagship smartphone and its variants are still piling in, the latest of which purports to confirm the reveal of an inaugural 14 Plus SKU in advance.
This variant is thought to have Pro Max-esque screen real estate, albeit with vanilla 14 cameras and specs otherwise. It has initially been thought of as a "14 Max" as a result; however, according to a new leak courtesy of @Tommyboiiiiii on Twitter, Apple has chosen to resurrect a naming scheme not seen since the 8 Plus instead.
Furthermore, ESR might not thank this leaker for the new post, as it may have also spoiled the launch of this OEM's clear Air Armor cases with HaloLock for the "iPhone 14 Plus", not to mention what might be a new series compatible with the same device with new "Krystec" branding.
Finally, the new tips might suggest that should a South Korean consumer want one of those accessories for their new "14 Plus", they will need up to 42,887 won (~US$32) to order one. All in all, this is the latest in a prolonged line of possible evidence that Apple will unveil no less than 4 types of iPhone 14 with a combination of older and new-ish product names in September 2022.
