Leaker @_snoopytech_, who has often shared marketing images of devices and products ahead of their official release, has obtained renders of a case for the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro Max. Purportedly produced by CG Mobile for Lacoste, the authenticity of the images has not been confirmed yet. However, @_snoopytech_'s reputation proceeds them at this point, though. For example, the leaker recently shared Xperia 5 IV press renders before Sony launched its latest flagship smartphone.
Presumably, CG Mobile has created this case from leaked CAD files, rather than receiving them from Apple directly. Accordingly, case dimensions are in line with earlier leaks, including the presence of a larger camera module than the one Apple included in the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Based on one image, CG Mobile and Lacoste hope that the case fits snugly around the rear camera housing. Similarly, the iPhone's physical buttons and mute switch are consistent with current expectations.
It is worth noting that CG Mobile re-uses the same packaging for multiple Lacoste-branded cases. Hence, there is no iPhone 14 Pro Max-specific branding one where one would expect it. Instead, a retailer will add its barcode on the blank space on the case's rear. Apple is expected to reveal several products on September 7, including the iPhone 14 Pro Max and the rest of the iPhone 14 series. Additionally, the Watch Series 8 should be in attendance, as should the Watch Pro. Potentially, new iPads could arrive too, as will in-depth showcases of iOS 16, iPadOS 16 and watchOS 9.
