ASUS ROG Strix XG32UQ: 32-inch gaming monitor presented with a 4K resolution, a 160 Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 connectivity

ASUS has introduced ROG Strix XG32UQ with a 4K resolution and a 160 Hz refresh rate. Available with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync support, the 32-inch gaming monitor also features 1 ms response times across its IPS panel with DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 connectivity.

ASUS has unveiled the ROG Strix XG32UQ, a 32-inch gaming monitor with an IPS panel. Running at 3,840 x 2,160 pixels with a 160 Hz refresh rate, the ROG Strix XG32UQ offers 96% DCI-P3 colour space coverage, 600 nits of peak brightness and a 1,000:1 typical contrast ratio. Additionally, the ROG Strix XG32UQ provides 1 ms (GtG) response times and Delta E <2 colour deviations.

Similarly, the ROG Strix XG32UQ supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, NVIDIA G-SYNC and a Low Blue Light mode. For reference, the ROG Strix XG32UQ is capable of outputting at between 47 Hz and 160 Hz when connected via DisplayPort and 47 Hz to 144 Hz over HDMI. Separately, the gaming monitor has one DisplayPort 1.4 port, two HDMI 2.1 ports, a 3.5 mm jack and a USB hub with two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports. In other words, the ROG Strix XG32UQ is compatible with current generation games consoles thanks to HDMI VRR and ALLM functionality.

Moreover, the ROG Strix XG32UQ has a height-adjustable stand that you will be able to tilt and swivel. ASUS adds that it has included a tripod socket for including a camera or a lamp of some sort. Unfortunately, ASUS has not confirmed pricing yet for any market. However, the ROG Strix XG32UQ will be available in multiple markets from Q3 2022.
