Reviews for the ZTE Axon 10 Pro

85.1% ZTE Axon 10 Pro Smartphone Review: The flagship killer from China | Notebookcheck
ZTE pitches the Axon 10 Pro against modern flagships like the P30 Pro, especially in regard to design. The Chinese manufacturer has included an in-screen fingerprint scanner and 48 MP dual rear-facing cameras, but it has scrimped on many of the other flashy features adorning high-end handsets. Read on in this detailed review to find out how this 600-Euro (~US$678) supposed flagship killer performs in our tests.
ZTE Axon 10 Pro review: It packs a huge punch
Source: Android Authority English Archive.org version
Aside from some camera issues, the ZTE Axon 10 Pro doesn’t have many glaring weaknesses. You’re getting the same core specifications and features you would find on more expensive flagships, including the Snapdragon 855 and in-display fingerprint sensor. Also, there aren’t many phones that I can think of in this price range that offer both wireless charging and IP certification. It may not do too much to differentiate itself but not everyone cares about unique features or gimmicks. This is a phone that focuses on delivering a fast and reliable experience, and most of the features are practical. The ZTE Axon 10 Pro certainly nails those aspects and is a great bargain that shouldn’t be overlooked.

Chances are the ZTE Axon 10 Pro has slipped under your radar, but if you're in the market for a top-tier Android phone for around $500, it's one of the best you can get. The Axon 10 Pro offers a speedy Snapdragon 855 processor, an AMOLED display with slim bezels, triple rear cameras, and great battery life. You even get wireless charging and expandable storage.

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro (official page) is a good smartphone designed and built with care. It offers great performance and user experience, thanks to the mostly untouched Android user interface and good audio performance. Carrying it feels nice and the industrial design is agreeable.

The OnePlus 7T may be a more well-rounded phone for the money, but the Axon 10 Pro is a good alternative for those more concerned about battery life or storage capacity. If you're looking to spend less than the Axon 10 Pro's $549 price, look into the $399 Pixel 3a.

As you can see, this $550 smartphone can definitely go head to head with phones that cost nearly double. It probably won’t win every battle, but that’s perfectly fine. What’s most surprising about this phone is that it beats OnePlus at its own game, offering flagship-tier hardware and a clean software experience at a very appealing price, making the ZTE Axon 10 Pro the new king of the budget flagship smartphone segment, That’s definitely something I wasn’t expecting when this phone showed up.

At a time where flagship phones come in at $1,000 or more, ZTE shows up with a contender that’s nearly half the price. For only $549, the Axon 10 Pro will give you a phone that performs like a thousand dollar flagship. It boasts stunning battery life and a beautiful design.

ZTE Axon 10 Pro Hands-On: A $549 Flagship with Premium Features
Source: Tom's Guide English Archive.org version
We may be in the age of the $999 flagship phone, but a few smartphone makers are still trying to put out premium devices that don't flirt with four-digit price tags. OnePlus and Asus have staked out their share of that market with the OnePlus 7 Pro and ZenFone 6, respectively, and now they're about to be joined by a familiar face that's been hard to find in the U.S. as of late.
