Yoniq has revealed global pricing information for its new dual screen handheld. Rivalling the Retroid Pocket Duo Lite and the Anbernic RG DS range, the Yoniq Duo hopes to distinguish itself from rivals with dual joysticks and stylus support.

Yoniq has revealed pricing information for its first dual-screen gaming handheld. To recap, the company announced the Yoniq Duo at the end of August. As we discussed at the time, the Yoniq Duo appeared to directly rival the Anbernic RG DS (curr. $129 on Amazon), albeit with a second joystick like the more expensive Ayn Thor or Ayaneo Pocket DS.

Now, Yoniq has listed its alternative on its website with Canadian, Eurozone, UK and US pricing. It is worth keeping in mind that the Yoniq Duo faces added competition since its initial announcement. For instance, Anbernic now sells the newer RG DS Plus for $84.99. Additionally, Retroid has released the comparable Pocket Duo and Pocket Duo Lite for $269 and $149, respectively.

By contrast, the Yoniq Duo is set to retail for $199, £147.99, €171.99 and CAD 276.99, respectively. However, Yoniq indicates that the handheld will be initially available for $159, £117.99, €137.99 and CAD 220.99 in the US, UK, Eurozone and Canada. Unfortunately, hardware specifications and a release date remain unknown for now. Yoniq's new images confirm in-line shoulder buttons, dual USB Type-C ports and stylus support, though. Please see Yoniq's website for more details.
