Xiaomi launches its 27-inch 165Hz gaming monitor offering a 2K resolution for about US$300
A few days ago, we revealed that Xiaomi was set to launch a new 27-inch 165 Hz gaming monitor alongside a 30,000 mAh power bank. The Chinese company has released the power bank, the Mi Power Bank 3, and is moving forward with its plans for the gaming monitor.
Xiaomi has now launched the 27-inch 165 Hz monitor in China, and is listing it as a crowdfunded venture on its Chinese e-commerce store. Although the monitor has a regular retail price that converts into about US$310, buyers will be able to snag one for circa US$268 while it's still in the crowdfunding stage.
The 27-inch gaming monitor uses an IPS panel with a 2560x1440 resolution. As previously stated, it's also a 165 Hz panel, and offers 1ms response, a 95% DCI-P3 color gamut, a 400 nits peak brightness, and Adaptive-Sync support.
There's a HDMI port, a USB 3.0 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a DisplayPort. Xiaomi is also offering a three-year warranty for the monitor. That is, of course, only valid in China, as it hasn't been launched elsewhere. It's also unknown if it will ever make its way over to Europe.
