Xiaomi Pad 6: EU and UK pricing surfaces before launch sans Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro
Nearly three months have passed since Xiaomi introduced the Pad 6 series, which debuted in its home market alongside the Smart Band 8 and Xiaomi 13 Ultra. While the latter has now received a global release, the Pad 6 series has only reached India so far. The same applies to the Smart Band 8, with Xiaomi seemingly preparing to introduce the global version of the Redmi Watch 3 Youth Edition instead.
According to Pricebaba and @ishanagarwal24, Xiaomi could be close to launching the Pad 6 series in Europe and the UK. Unfortunately, it seems that Xiaomi has no plans to sell the Pad 6 Pro outside China. For reference, the Pad 6 Pro has a more powerful chipset than the Pad 6, as well as superior cameras and faster charging capabilities.
Like India, Europe and the UK will receive just the Pad 6, which combines an 11-inch, 144 Hz and high-resolution IPS display with a Snapdragon 870 chipset and an 8,840 mAh battery. Reputedly, Xiaomi will launch the Pad 6 for €399 and £369 in the Eurozone and the UK, respectively. In other words, the Pad 6 will price match the Pad 5, with which it shares a few features.
Thus, the Xiaomi Pad 6 should undercut many of its competitors, including the OnePlus Pad. Neither Pricebaba nor @ishanagarwal24 have revealed when Xiaomi will showcase the Pad 6 in Europe or the UK. However, the pair expect the tablet to be available in two colours with 6 GB of RAM/128 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM/256 GB of storage variants, skipping the 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage option that Xiaomi sells in China. The pair add that the higher memory option will sell for €499, as does leaker @_snoopytech_.
