Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro with Snapdragon 865 topples the Huawei Mate 30 Pro and OnePlus 7T Pro with phenomenal Geekbench results
If you’re not already excited about the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro then this latest news might offer a reason to take more notice of the Chinese manufacturer’s upcoming flagship. Two Geekbench records for the smartphone have been spotted on Geekbench, the first one by Xiaomishka and a slightly later one discovered after a bit of further digging by this article’s author. The results given were astonishing: 904 and 906 points for the single-core test, and 3,290 and 3,294 for the multi-core test.
It’s important to point out now that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is expected to wield some seriously powerful components. The Snapdragon 865 SoC is already confirmed, and the Geekbench entries reveal 8 GB RAM (possibly LPDDR5), so of course the smartphone is going to have an advantage over rivals with more dated specifications. But the results are still impressive for the device, which Xiaomishka believes is the global variant that will apparently be released in Spain on February 23.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro would easily lead the current Geekbench Android charts thanks to the results it achieved with its SD 865, surpassing scores by smartphones featuring HiSilicon Kirin 990 and Snapdragon 855+ chips. The current single-core leaders, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro (5G) and OnePlus 7T Pro, would be shoved brutally out of the Mi 10 Pro’s way with their scores of 768 points and 763 points, respectively. The same can be seen in the multi-core chart, which is topped by the Huawei Mate 30 Pro (5G), Huawei Mate 30 Pro, and OnePlus 7T Pro at the moment. Their scores of 3,076 points, 2,869 points, and 2,705 points, respectively, are all overwhelmed by both of the reported results from the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. The performance seems to be there, now it’s all about the price.
