Last month, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed that the company was bringing 120 Hz displays to its next flagships. Further details followed a short time thereafter, with there being rumours that at least the OnePlus 8 Pro will support wireless charging. The device would be the first OnePlus smartphone to support the charging method, for reference.
Now, a recent leak claims to show the design of the final OnePlus 8 Pro, along with some technical specs for OnePlus' upcoming flagship. Some of the technical data shown matches that which has been circulating online for a while, including that the OnePlus 8 series will largely resemble its OnePlus 7T predecessors.
If the recently leaked information proves true, then OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 8 Pro in a new colour and will include a 3D ToF camera. As the render demonstrates, the ToF camera will be adjacent to the main triple rear-facing camera cluster. Predictably, the OnePlus 8 Pro will feature a Snapdragon 865 SoC, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB or 256 GB of storage and a 6.5-inch AMOLED display that will support up to 120 Hz refresh rates. Underpinning all this will be a 4,500 mAh battery that the OnePlus 8 Pro can charge at up to 50 W.
