Rumour - Updated | OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro appear in hands-on images
Xiaomi and Samsung may have been dominating the smartphone news cycle lately, but OnePlus may be on the verge of stealing a march on its competitors. Rumoured to feature wireless charging, 120 Hz displays, punch-hole displays and Snapdragon 865 SoCs, the OnePlus 8 series has already been heavily leaked. Even OnePlus has been teasing its upcoming handsets, too.
Now, it seems that a few OnePlus 8 units have found their way into someone's hands ahead of their expected release next month. Brought to our attention by Slashleaks and @techdroider, the person has apparently been posting photos of these devices on the official OnePlus Discord server.
The photos tally with the rumoured design of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. Essentially, the OnePlus has made some minor refinements to the design of the OnePlus 7 series, including adding a ToF camera. Both photos show that OnePlus has positioned this to the left of the main triple-rear-facing camera array. A new purple colour seems to be on the way, too. Apparently, other photos posted on the same Discord server confirm that the OnePlus 8 series will have punch-hole displays.
These images remain unverified for the time being though, so they could well be faked. The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro may be joined by the OnePlus 8 Lite, which OnePlus may have already teased, too.

Update
Now, a photo of the front of the OnePlus 8 has been posted online. Tweeted by @IntelSfs, the photo shows a punch-hole design, with the front-facing camera sitting in the top-left of the display. The device appears to have comparatively thin bezels, too.
Additionally, the same account has seemingly provided proof that the picture of the device in its retail wrapper had been posted to a OnePlus Discord server. Again, this does not verify these leaks as genuine.
