OnePlus is preparing to launch its next-generation flagship smartphones, specifically the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. While there have been a few reports speculating about the design of OnePlus' upcoming devices, we now have official confirmation that the phones exist.

There have been plenty of leaks about OnePlus' next smartphones, presumably called the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. While we have seen the possibility of the latter supporting wireless charging, the arrival of a 120 Hz display and even possibly a 12 GB SKU appearing on Geekbench, OnePlus is yet to confirm the name of its handsets.

However, Amazon has jumped the gun and confirmed that at least the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will arrive later this year. Spotted by @stufflistings, the apparently inadvertent confirmation was listed under the heading "New: Mobiles Phones at 1% Fixed Advertising Fee". There do not appear to be any references to either handset elsewhere on Amazon yet, though.

Rumour has it that OnePlus may announce the OnePlus 8 series at MWC 2020 or shortly thereafter. Undoubtedly, there will be at least one 5G SKU too, but a OnePlus 8 Lite may also make an appearance. Three OnePlus smartphones released simultaneously would be rather unusual though, so we would not be surprised to see the Lite edition arriving at a later date.
