Rumour | No Nintendo Direct this week, but two could occur before the end of the month

There have been three Nintendo Direct presentations this year, but fans will apparently have to wait a while longer before the next one, according to a new rumour. Tweeted by @New_WabiSabi yesterday, this week will be quiet on Nintendo news, despite possible claims to the contrary.

While this has prompted plenty of discussion on the ensuing thread, there remains plenty of time for Nintendo to host more Direct presentations before the end of the month. According to an insider cited by Wccftech, two will occur this month, with one going into greater detail about Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Incidentally, the Animal Crossing Edition of the Nintendo Switch is now available to pre-order.

The same insider claims that the Animal Crossing Direct will occur around February 20, with the other being about hitherto unannounced Nintendo Switch games. They did not state whether the Animal Crossing Direct would be first of the two this month or not, leaving it open to Nintendo possibly announcing some Switch titles next week.
