News about new Xiaomi smartphones has been a bit quiet recently, what with the arrival of the POCO X2 and all. The Mi 10 series may arrive as early as February 14, though. Ahead of that rumoured release date, several leakers have posted a screenshot purporting to show specifications of the Mi 10 Pro in what would make for an excellent successor to the Mi 9.

The arrival of the Mi 10 series is just over two weeks away, with Xiaomi rumoured to launch its next flagships on February 14 in China. While the Chinese company has confirmed that the Mi 10 will be one of the first devices to be powered by the Snapdragon 865, it has been silent on other features. We may have already seen the Mi 10 Pro courtesy of a leak last week too, but that did not reveal a great deal about the internals of the Mi 10 or Mi 10 Pro, either.

Now, @xiaomishka claims to have revealed several key specifications about the Mi 10 Pro. As the screenshot below reads, the Snapdragon 865 will be joined by with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, with a 5,250 mAh battery being on board too. As previously claimed, the main rear-facing camera will be a 108 MP sensor, with 16 MP, 12 MP and 5 MP sensors also making their way to the Mi 10 Pro.

The leak, which originates from Weibo, presents the Mi 10 Pro as having a 6.4-inch display, which is nothing unusual unto itself. However, the claimed resolution of 2,080 x 1,080 is where things start to break down. A 2,080 x 1,080 panel would have a skewed aspect ratio and not one that is common in modern smartphones. A resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 would be more common for a Xiaomi smartphone for example.

Other elements of the screenshot do not add up either, like the charging icon and MIUI 11 icon. In short, we suspect that this is another fake Mi 10 leak, of which there have been many recently. Hopefully, we are proven wrong though, as those specifications make for mouth-watering reading.
