Xiaomi is hoping to set the world alight this week with the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, its latest flagship smartphones. The two devices will sport not only the hyper-curved display of recent Huawei flagships, but will also pack the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC, a 108 MP camera, a 50x zoom lens, LPDDR5 RAM and a whopping 5,250 mAh battery. Expect Xiaomi to undercut its competitors on price, too.

Xiaomi is set to unveil the Mi 10 series in a few days, and now several official-looking posters have appeared online. Seemingly posted to Weibo and circulated by @xiaomishka, the posters not only show the Mi 10, but also the Mi 10 Pro. However, you would be forgiven for thinking that they are the same device.

As several people have spotted online, the blue device has an additional rear-facing camera sensor, which is hidden among the main camera cluster. Apparently, that is the difference between the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. It remains unclear at this stage what the camera is, but it could be a ToF sensor of sorts. Elsewhere, @xiaomishka speculates that the Mi 10 series will feature a 108 MP main sensor that is capable of shooting 8K videos, along with a 50x zoom lens.

Moreover, Xiaomi appears to have done away with the notch and has switched to a punch-hole display instead. The display looks to have a rather steep curvature too, as although not to the same extent as the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. Additionally, the Mi 10 series will be the first smartphones to feature LPDDR5 RAM, while @xiaomishka claims that the devices will support Wi-Fi 6 too. Finally, they will both measure 157.21 x 74.64 x 8.54 mm and will weigh 196 g. The series may come in up to four colours too, with two other colourways also having been leaked.

The two Snapdragon 865-powered units are expected to be announced on Thursday. However, Xiaomi will launch the Mi 10 series globally in Barcelona before MWC 2020 on February 23, as the image below suggests.
