Powkiddy has quietly started selling a new gaming handheld, four months or so after introducing the RGB20 Pro. Incidentally, the company has teased that it will be launching 'various consoles in 2025', of which the X35H is the first. Powkiddy's latest release appears to have its roots in previous models, though.
For example, the X35H utilises the Rockchip RK3566 and 1 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, which is a well-trodden path for retro gaming handhelds. Likewise, Powkiddy has included a 3.5-inch IPS display that resolves at 640 x 480 pixels. The X35H features a 3,000 mAh battery too and a pair of MicroSD card readers, just like many of its peers.
At 150 x 77 x 24 mm and 181 g, the X35H is effectively a smaller alternative to the X55 that Powkiddy already sells (curr. $109.96 on Amazon). The device's launch price reflects this, which Powkiddy has set at $59.99 with a 16 GB MicroSD card and no games pre-installed. Alternatively, the Powkiddy X35H can be purchased with 64 GB and 128 GB secondary MicroSD cards for $64.99 and $74.99, respectively, in a choice of four colour options.
