Vivo X300 Ultra: New global model surpasses Galaxy S26 Ultra in battery life test

The dust has barely settled on the launch of the Vivo X300 Ultra. Nonetheless, one can import the device from numerous third parties. Now, Techblog has discovered details concerning the smartphone's impending global release.
For context, Vivo has already confirmed that it will open pre-orders on April 16 across the Eurozone. Additionally, X300 Ultra shipments should start on April 24. It has not revealed hardware specifications for global models yet, nor whether they differ from their Chinese counterparts.
As a result, the Vivo X300 Ultra should have a 32% larger battery than the Galaxy S26 Ultra globally (curr. $1,289 on Amazon). However, EPREL indicates that this massive capacity difference does not translate into vastly superior battery life.
Instead, Vivo's new global flagship lasts just 3% longer than the Galaxy S26 Ultra at 56:53 hours versus 55 hours. Still, the Vivo X300 Ultra is rated to retain 80% of its battery health after 1,200 cycles, matching its Samsung counterpart. Incidentally, EPREL confirms that the Vivo X300 Ultra will receive at least five years of Android security updates globally, too.
