Vivo Watch 3 to launch alongside Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro
Vivo is well underway with its latest teaser campaign, having showcased an official X100 Pro render image earlier this week. Subsequently, the company has revealed the handset in an even more vibrant colourway, which we have covered separately. Also, it has revealed the Watch 3, its first smartwatch in almost two years.
So far, Vivo has presented the Watch 3 in two designs, both with colour-matching watch bands. Seemingly, both will have proprietary band designs. However, it may be possible to add a third-party alternative with the gold model, which has exposed lug ends. Additionally, Vivo's teasers confirm that the Watch 3 has an action button and a digital crown mounted on its right-hand side.
Moreover, the smartwatch has a microphone hole, presumably for Bluetooth calls via a paired smartphone or its rumoured optional 4G modem. The Watch 3 will debut on November 13 alongside the X100 and X100 Pro running BlueOS, a Rust-based OS. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen whether Vivo plans to present the Watch 3 globally at any stage.
