The Huawei Eyewear 2 smart glasses look to be rolling out to more countries. A listing on the Infocomm Media Development Agency (IMDA) suggests that the wearable device will soon go on sale in Singapore. The Huawei gadget appeared with the model name LFT-G00 and the description “Bluetooth Eyewear”.
You can use the Huawei Eyewear 2 to make voice calls with built-in speakers, a microphone and triple noise cancellation. Other features include music playback, touch controls and settings adjustable in an accompanying app. The smart glasses are expected to last for up to eleven hours, with a full recharge taking around 50 minutes. Thanks in part to a titanium frame, the gadget is lightweight, weighing 4.7 g (~0.17 oz), and can be fitted with Zeiss prescription lenses.
Huawei has not officially confirmed a release date or pricing for the Eyewear 2 in Singapore. Following an event in Barcelona earlier this year, it was thought that the Huawei Eyewear 2 would launch in Europe in October for €300. However, it appears that the smart glasses are yet to go on sale in the region. Huawei has not yet provided an updated launch time frame for the region.
