According to some recent reports, Bose is wrapping up the production of Bose Frames - the lineup of smart audio glasses. By the end of this year, Bose Frames products will not be available for sale, while the existing owners will continue to get support.

Bose is reportedly discontinuing the production of Bose Frames, which is a series of smart audio glasses. The Frames were launched in 2019, and to date, several variants have been introduced by Bose.

As per a recent report on Digital Trends, most of the Frames inventory has been sold out. A few items from the range might be spotted on the website until the holidays, but the smart glasses will not be available by the end of this year. Meanwhile, existing Frames owners will receive support from the company, and the warranties on the products will remain active.

At the time of writing, the official Bose website has only listed one model - Frames Tempo, which has been marked as sold out. A refurbished version of the same is available with an almost 50% cut in its price.

While Bose has seemingly given up on the idea of smart audio glasses, other companies, like Ray Ban, have been toying with it. Products like Ray Ban Meta Wayfarer (curr. US$329 on Amazon) have made their way to the market, although widespread adoption is yet to be achieved.
