Google Pixel November 2023 update published for just Pixel Watch 2 LTE
Google has begun its latest software rollout for the Pixel Watch series, with an equivalent reaching Pixel smartphones and the Pixel Tablet earlier this week. In a blog post, Google explains that it has begun distributing its November 2023 update for Pixel smartwatches starting with the Pixel Watch 2 LTE, which still costs US$399.99 on Amazon. For reference, this month's build arrives as TWD9.231005.005.B3, a global build number that only contains bug fixes.
Surprisingly, the November 2023 update contains the October 2023 set of security patches, the same as last month's TWD9.231005.005.B1 update. Also, it appears that no equivalent updates are available for the non-cellular Pixel Watch 2 yet, nor the Pixel Watch or Pixel Watch LTE. In fact, Google has not mentioned any other models in its blog post.
As always, you can attempt to manually download TWD9.231005.005.B3 on your Pixel Watch 2 LTE if Google has not pushed a notification to download the update automatically. Currently, this can only be done on the smartwatch itself by heading to System updates, a System sub-menu within the Settings app, and tapping 'Your watch is up to date' several times. Theoretically, it should be possible to manually sideload TWD9.231005.005.B3 too, the factory image for which you can find on Google Play Services.
