While some say that the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro is too large, too heavy, and its design is outdated, I like mine. However, I was always anxious about dropping it, although I've been protecting it with the case that comes inside the retail box since the first day of use. Now, it looks like my fears have been misplaced and this handset can take a lot, although it does not carry any special certification.
The first test that I discovered involves quite a few drops from 1,6 meters (5.25 feet) on marble, but without using the protective case. The result? Nothing short of impressive, because there are no cracks or scratches involved and the internals of the phone work perfectly after the drops in the video (the first one embedded at the end of the article).
The second batch of tests performed by CNTechRoom is similar to JerryRigEverything's torture sessions, but there's no fire involved, while the scratch and bend tests seem to be less intense. However, the results are just as impressive and it looks like the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro can even survive complete immersion (for a few seconds, of course). Obviously, one can easily find other similar videos on YouTube that deliver about the same results.
These being said, feel free to drop a comment and let us know which is the most extreme event that your phone has managed to survive so far.
